To all faculty and staff using Blackboard

CUNY has announced that there will be a complete Blackboard outage August 15, 16, 17. We 
all realize that this outage will cause difficulties, especially for summer school courses, but 
CUNY has informed us that the Blackboard systems are in danger unless major 
improvements are made at their end now. Faculty and staff using Blackboard will need to 
plan their work around this outage. These improvements will also help pave the way for the 
Blackboard 7 upgrade, which will be done at a later date.
