For some time now Hunter wireless network (hunternet) has been enabled for 
use by faculty and staff who have Hunter email addresses, as well as by 
students. When the Hunter wireless network was started several years ago, it 
was restricted to students only. Recently we changed the restriction and 
opened the wireless network to anyone who has a valid Hunter email address. 
A wireless-enabled computer in a wireless area of the college would need to 
start up a web browser to log into the hunternet. The email address is the 
wireless account name and the email password is the wireless password. 

Wireless is available in the 68th Street library -- all floors, West third floor 
cafeteria and walkways, 2nd floor Oasis and 10th floor North building, 
Brookdale dormitory and health sciences library and several other places 
around campus. We will be adding additional wireless areas in the course of 
this year.
