Hunter's Rockowitz Writing Center is continuing its series of workshops to support students working on their research papers. Workshops are held on Wednesday afternoons at 1:15pm and Wednesday evenings at 5:40pm at the RWC, in the East building room 704.

Workshop details from the RWC:

On Wed, April 18,we're offering The Research Paper: Reading Academic Articles. In this workshop, we’ll focus on how to read academic articles more effectively and more efficiently by predicting what a text is about, understanding what it is responding to, and identifying its main argument and supporting points.

On Wed, April 18, at 5:40pm, we'll be discussing The Research Paper: Using Sources to Avoid Plagiarism. In this workshop, we’ll focus on what plagiarism is, why it happens, and how to avoid it by citing properly when summarizing, paraphrasing, or quoting.

On Wed, April 25, at 1:15pm, we'll be discussing The Research Paper: Using Sources to Avoid Plagiarism again.
