Subject: CMF returns to Hunter College Wed, Mar 6!!

Dear Attiqa,

My name is Sam Sheres and I am writing you on behalf of Campus MovieFest (CMF), the world's largest student film festival. We travel to over 75 campuses across the U.S. including Hunter College giving students the opportunity to make their own 5-minute movies in a week. Students receive an Apple laptop, a Panasonic HD camera, and tech support all for free!

We are really excited to be back at Hunter College and are trying to make sure every student, faculty, and staff member knows they are eligible to participate! Just last year CMF had over 75,000 participants who earned $400,000 in prizes.

Given your role at the university, you're in a unique position to help us get the word out to students (and staff). Because no film experience is required to participate, all students have something to gain from CMF. They have the chance to experiment with a new activity while discussing something they find important. The CMF Elfenworks Social Justice Category encourages you to share stories of social injustice for a chance to win up to $20,000 in cash prizes. CMF offers all students a chance to share their unique ideas and stories with each other and the world. If you think CMF could benefit students, either personally or academically, we would greatly appreciate it if you would pass along this information.

Students can sign up through Wednesday, March 6, the day we hand out equipment. CMF will collect the equipment and finished short films on Tuesday, March 12.

For more information, or to signup, check out our website www.campusmoviefest.com/hunter.

I would be thrilled to come by and meet your students or do a brief class presentation. Let me know if this interests you!

I have also attached a general email announcement for your use.

Best,

Sam Sheres
