?Department of Family, Nutrition, and Exercise Sciences at Queens College invites applications for adjunct faculty for the Fall 2017 and Spring 2018 semesters to teach undergraduate courses in two areas:
1) Life cycle and Community Nutrition (Discussion of nutrition needs and government programs to support nutrition health during the different stages of the life cycle; community needs assessment; and the impact of public policy on nutrition and dietetics practice); and 2) International Cuisine (lecture and laboratory to discuss and apply culinary and nutritional principals of cuisines from around the world). The courses meet one day or evening a week, for 3-5 hours, for 15 weeks. The candidate must be an MS, RD. Candidates with PhD in nutrition or food science preferred.
