Subject: Programs: CIC Latin American Health, Nutrition and Environmental
Issue int eh Dominican Republic

The University of Iowa is now accepting applications for the summer and fall
sessions of the CIC Latin American Health, Nutrition and Environmental

program is open to students interested in global/public health, nursing,
nutrition and other health sciences, sustainability, human rights,
international studies and environmental issues. This program provides
students with the opportunity to improve their Spanish language skills
through course work and daily immersion in Dominican culture, and develop
their own unique, field-based research project.

Students can find more information on the summer and fall sessions,
including application materials and course descriptions, on our website:

northeastern part of the country. The fall session is hosted by Pontificia
Universidad Catolica Madre y Maestra (PUCMM) in Santiago. Students live
with host families during both sessions.

Dates: The summer session takes place from June 12 - August 2, 2012 and the
