On Monday morning, the First Lady is hosting a call to discuss the threats that school nutrition programs are facing.

As Congress plans to vote on the Agriculture spending bill this week, school nutrition is under assault from some members of Congress, the School Nutrition Association, and some food companies. I hope you will be able to join the call, and more importantly, join the effort to protect good nutrition through school lunch and breakfast and the new Smart Snack standards for vending and a la carte from being weakened through appropriations.

Invitation attached.
