Subject: Want to go to the movies?

This weekend is the opening of the documentary, Fed Up, produced by Laurie David (Inconvenient Truth) and narrated by Katie Couric. Watch the trailer here<http://t.congressweb.com/l/?SOSBVEVRGVWLWXA>, see if it’s playing at a theater near you here<http://t.congressweb.com/l/?SOSBVEVRGVQVVUN>, and share it on social media here<http://t.congressweb.com/l/?SOSBVEVRGVROCRW>.

The movie includes interviews with writers Mark Bittman and Michael Pollan, former President Bill Clinton, and Senator Tom Harkin – and me.

We hope the film will inspire people to make changes in their lives and in our food environment. The film makers are using the movie to encourage action to support implementation of the Smart Snack standards for food sold in schools through vending, school stores, and a la carte, and to support for taxes<https://www.cspinet.org/takeaction/> on soda and other sugary drinks.

I look forward to hearing what you think of it.
