USDA Announces Farmers Market and Local Food Promotion Program Webinars

The Farmers Market and Local Food Promotion Program has announced two competitive grants: the Farmers Market Promotion Program<http://wallacecenter.us1.list-manage1.com/track/click?u=f6e853d37c1ed4db967a79125&id=44c300f264&e=83d6855990> (FMPP) and the Local Food Promotion Program<http://wallacecenter.us1.list-manage1.com/track/click?u=f6e853d37c1ed4db967a79125&id=277dd97a3e&e=83d6855990> (LFPP), and is offering two separate webinars for potential applicants to learn more about eligibility and the application process. The webinar audio will stream live through your computer (you will be able to ask questions via the chat mechanism on the screen). The webinars will also be recorded for future use.


Local Food Promotion Program

  *   LFPP offers grant funds to support the development and expansion of local and regional food business enterprises that "process, distribute, aggregate, or store locally or regionally produced food products".
  *   Such entities include food hubs, delivery and aggregation businesses, and processing and storage facilities along the local food supply chain.
  *   LFPP will accept applications for both planning grants and implementation grants.
