Volunteer at the UN General Assembly, Side Event, Sept 21, 2016

In preparation for the upcoming 71st UN General Assembly, we are working to coordinate opportunities for students to volunteer.  Volunteerswill be assisting with registration, social media, photography and overall coordination.

We are looking for volunteers interested in participating in UNGA side event on Wednesday September 21st.

The side event is by the G4 Alliance, GE Foundation and Safe Surgery 2020

Road Map to 2030: Surgery's Essential Role in Achieving Health for All session on September 21st, 2:00PM- 6:00PM EDT.  It will be held at Apella Event Space at Alexandria Center 450 East 29th Street, Room 200, New York, NY 10016

Panelists will discuss strategies for strengthening surgical care and health systems overall, highlighting the linkages between robust country-level engagement, innovative approaches, effective financing strategies and collaboration across sectors.
