Medical Assistant, Laser Surgery Care, New York, NY
-       Assist in routine surgical procedures conducted under local anesthesia
-       Assist in special surgical procedures conducted under general anesthesia
-       Safely collect, label, and ship human specimens from surgical procedures
-       Conduct routine blood draws on patients for laboratory testing
-       Enter all lab results into digitized patient charts
-       Call patients with lab test results and schedule necessary follow up appointments
-       Efficiently manage flow of ~25 patients per day
-       Conduct intake and medical histories of new and returning patients
-       Maintain proper cleaning, stocking, and sterilization of three examination rooms
-       Procure clinic’s medical and non-medial supplies on weekly basis

-       Responsible for coordination of all aspects of three clinical trials:
•       “An Investigational Study of Gardasil in Reducing the Incidence of Anogential Warts & Anal Neoplasia in Young Men”
•        “Vaccine Therapy in Preventing Human Papillomavirus Infection in Young HIV-Positive Males Patients Who Have Sex with Males”
•       “Infrared Coagulator Ablation or Observation in Preventing Anal Cancer in HIV-Positive Patients with Anal Neoplasia”
