What better time then the winter break to start those applications for special internships and programs?!

Please see the http://www.hunter.cuny.edu/prehealth/internships-and-special-programs page of the pre-health website for special opportunities. Also, check back through old listserv announcements. Many applications are due Februrary 1 or March 1 but why not start them now when you are free from classwork?

Always check to make sure that you meet the qualifications before applying and also check to see if programs cost money and provide housing.

Remember, medical and dental schools like to see students with experience. 200+ hours of health care, public health experience is required.

Start it now and don't wait until last minute. Use your summers to gain experience!
