Stony Brook Linkage Program:

Students in the Post-Baccalaureate Certificate Program are eligible for Stony Brook Linkage if they:

-have a minimum 3.6 GPA
-have completed a significant amount of research, leadership and/or clinical experience 
-would be eligible to apply to medical school this year, for entrance in  Fall 2012 
-plan to take the MCAT by May 7, 2011

In order to apply a student must be nominated by the Pre-Health Professions Office. If you meet the above requirements and are interested please e-mail [log in to unmask] to be considered for nomination.

Please be sure that you have letters of recommendation from research, clinical, and/or leadership experiences in your pre-health file. Letters of recommendation are a very important part of the application process for the Stony Brook Linkage Program.

All interested students must take the MCAT no later than May 7,2011.

This program is for Post-Baccalaureate students ONLY.

Students who are accepted will begin medical school at Stony Brook in summer 2011. 

This linkage program is only for students who are seriously interested in attending Stony Brook School of Medicine. Interested students should arrange for a visit to the Stony Brook School of Medicine campus. You can find more information on their website http://uhmc-xweb1.uhmc.sunysb.edu/international_programs/ 

If you do not meet the above requirements you will not be considered.
