JOB SUMMARY: Thriving 10-doctor Dermatology practice seeks a part time, highly trained Medical Assistant. This practice is focused on providing high quality medical Dermatology services; candidate would be responsible for assisting all physicians with patient care including facilitating patient flow, rooming patients, suture removals, obtaining history and chief complaint, assisting with biopsies and select surgical procedures. Experience working with patients and doctors is required as well as excellent patient relation skills and the ability to be highly flexible.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Two years clinical experience in Medical Practice required, Medical Assistant Certification preferred, two years preferred experience in Dermatology practice.

SKILLS/ABILITIES: Must have proven oral and written communication skills; as well as excellent customer service skills, ability to effectively work as a team member, able to highly manage multiple tasks simultaneously, well organized and excellent attention to detail, quick on feet, calm under pressure, must have confidence and be eager to learn and help. Must also be able to take direction with minimal supervision and has the ability to prioritize. Must be good at actively listening, reliable and treat co-workers and patients with respect at all times.
