On Sunday, September 21, 2014 from 9:30a.m. to 1:30p.m. ,New York Medical College is sponsoring a mentoring program for undergraduate students preparing for careers in medicine, public health, physical therapy, speech-language pathology or biomedical research. We welcome the attendance of all college students interested in a graduate education in the medical and health related fields. We are especially interested in attendees from historically under-represented groups as we are deeply invested in supporting the next generation of health care practitioners from all backgrounds. The program is also geared towards providing pre-health advisors up-to-date information to ensure their students are best prepared to pursue these careers. The program is free but advanced registration is required www.nymcmentoring.com. .

The program will include:
•	small workshops presented by NYMC faculty and students from the College’s three graduate schools - School of Medicine, School of Health Sciences and Practice, and Graduate School of Basic Medical Science
•	an opportunity for pre-health advisors to meet with deans from all three graduate programs
•	a lunchtime career and activities fair sponsored by NYMC students
•	a tour of the NYMC teaching facilities at each school plus our new state-of-the-art Clinical Skills and Disaster Medicine Training Center.

New York Medical College is located in suburban Westchester County in Valhalla, NY. The campus is easily accessible by car, bus or train. Limited free van shuttle service will be available to and from the White Plains Metro North train station at the beginning and end of the program. Free parking is available on campus.
