Dear Pre-Health Students,

I have secured two dates/ locations for a personal statement workshop for those of you who wish to apply to health professional school during the Spring/ Summer of 2012 (the upcoming cycle).  There are three requirements for participation:
1.	 You must be applying during this upcoming cycle. This is NOT a general talk and as such is not open to prospective applicants.  Instead, it is a specific workshop, limited to a few participants at time.  We will get together at the computer lab to begin putting the early draft of your personal statement together during the workshop so you can work on developing it more during the winter break.
2.	You must have met with me (CATHY) during an advisement session during which we have discussed your tentative application timeline.
3.	You must bring a functional resume/ CV to the workshop so that we can optimize the efficiency of your participation. If you don’t have one, or don’t have time to develop a functional one (unpolished resumes are accepted as long as they capture your accomplishments), please postpone your participation for a later time at which point you might have the document ready. 

You MUST CONTACT ME (CATHY: [log in to unmask]) to sign up for the workshop. Space is limited to the size of the computer labs and will be promised on a rolling basis, so please contact me if you believe you will benefit from participation and meet the eligibility criteria above.  

Below are the current available days/times to determine whether or not you are able to coordinate this with your other commitments. 

December 5th           9:00-10:00AM
December 9th           5:00-6:00PM

The location of the workshop will be disclosed to the participants upon completion of registration.
