The University of Queensland School of Medicine is one of the better options for an offshore medical school. The admissions criteria is more attainable than for programs in the US. They have good mechanisms in place for students to transition into US residency programs once the first years of medical school have been completed. This would be a particularly good option for students who already applied for admission in 2014 but have not yet received an offer of acceptance.

Applications are now open for the January 2015 entering class. Admissions decisions are made on a rolling basis until the class is filled.
