Summer Clinical Oncology Research Experience (SCORE)

ATTENTION FEMALE STUDENTS AT HUNTER COLLEGE!

The Summer Clinical Oncology Research Experience (SCORE) is an eight-week program offered to women undergraduate and post-baccalaureate students at the City College of New York and Hunter College. The goal of the program is to encourage the participation of women in clinical cancer research.
Each student in the program will:
• Gain research experience mentored by MSK faculty and interacting with MSK staff
• Attend institutional/departmental conferences as determined by the student and her mentor
• Participate in weekly educational lecture sessions
• Present their summer research to SCORE peers and mentors at a seminar-style session during the final week of the program
• Receive a $2,500.00 stipend

Program Dates: Monday, June 6 – Friday, July 29, 2016 (Monday – Friday, full-time)
Location: Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, 1275 York Avenue New York, NY 10065 (between 67th and 68th Streets)
Eligibility: The program is open to undergraduate and post-baccalaureate women who are students at Hunter College. Freshmen and under-represented minority students are encouraged to apply.
