International Humanitarian Law Youth Action Scavenger Hunt

The International Humanitarian Law Youth Action Team of the Hunter College American Red Cross club presents the IHL Scavenger Hunt. IHL is a set of rules which seek to limit the effects of armed conflicts for humanitarian reasons. Our focus this year is on Healthcare in Danger, which aims to raise awareness about healthcare personnel and workers who, under IHL are protected during times of armed conflict. This scavenger hunt is designed to teach students more about IHL and spread awareness. It will start off with a short history presentation of how the Red Cross and IHL were founded, followed by a scavenger hunt that teaches about the protections under IHL and who is protected by the rules.
