Subject: Greetings from NYU

I hope you are having a wonderful summer and working on your journey towards
a career in biomedicine.

I am writing to welcome you to NYU and to encourage you to consider it as
your stop on your journey.
We would love to see you join our vibrant program where you will receive
outstanding research and clinical training at the oldest, largest and most
diverse hospital in the country, Bellevue, in one of the most vibrant cities
in the world. Your training as a clinician and humanist at Bellevue and at
the other hospitals in our system, Tisch, Hospital for Joint Diseases and
the Veterans Hospital, and outstanding research labs will give you
unparalleled preparation for post graduate training. Early exposure to
patients and hands on clinical experience at Bellevue makes our students
some of the best prepared and sought after students. Our graduates place at
the nation's top medical centers in all specialties.
You will also have a wonderful opportunity to develop your leadership skills
and engage in community and global health. Our students run the New York
City Free Clinic and 38% of our first year class spend their summer in
Africa, South America and Asia conducting research and working with local
physicians to improve health outcomes.

We provide a supportive and engaging learning environment that promotes
respect and inclusion, team work and a common goal, to improve the health of
everyone.

Please do contact me with any questions.

I wish you all the best on your wonderful trek.

Please follow me on twitter: mekbibg
I will be twitting little tips on application/admission, etc.. in the months
to come
