The application period for the 2010 NYC Ladders for Leaders program is now
open.  Interested students can apply on the DYCD website at:
http://www.nyc.gov/html/dycd/html/jobs/nycladders_for_leaders.shtml or email
[log in to unmask] to request a paper application.  The
deadline to apply is December 14, 2009. 

What is NYC Ladders for Leaders? 
NYC Ladders for Leaders is a college and career readiness program offering
New York City high school and college students professional paid summer
internships, college scholarship opportunities, free college preparatory and
SAT courses, career guidance, and leadership development workshops. 

Who can apply? 

-Anyone with prior work experience (paid or volunteer) 
-Permanent resident of one of the five boroughs of NYC 
-At least 16 years of age but not over 21 years of age 
-Current High School Junior/Senior or College Freshman/Sophomore legally
allowed to work in New York
