40th Annual Latino Medical Student Association Northeast Conference
“SOY LATINO! Uniting the Leaders Among Us”
Host: LMSA, Drexel University College of Medicine Chapter
Date: February 23, 2013
Location: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

On behalf of the Latino Medical Student Association, we cordially invite students and faculty at Hunter College of New York to attend the, 40TH Annual Latino Medical Student Association Northeast Conference, February 23, 2013.
The theme of this year’s conference is “SOY LATINO! Uniting the Leaders Among Us.” The conference will feature panels and roundtables on major healthcare issues affecting underserved communities; a research poster session; and an exhibitor fair with representatives from various medical schools and residency programs. It is our sincere belief that the presentations and conversations that will take place over the course of the conference weekend will provide all participants with the tools necessary to become agents of change within the health care system, and leaders for the Latino community in particular.
By attending the conference, we hope that your students, faculty, and colleagues will become better informed of the health care obstacles facing the Latino community. We also hope that – by networking – all attendees will gain the knowledge, resources, and contacts needed to become the vivacious future leaders that the Latino community needs.
Please visit us at www.lmsa-ne.org/conference-info for more information including the agenda and registration information.
We look forward to meeting you in the near future!

Sincerely,

Max Oran
