CSTEP is a program that allows New York state residents enrolled as full-time students, to participate in clinical rotations at SUNY State College of Optometry, visit hospitals, private practice and HMOs, and complete a research project.

In order to qualify you must be:
-a NY State Resident
-a under-represented minority and/or economically disadvantaged
-a science or technical pre-professional major (i.e. Medical Lab sciences, Nursing) with a 3.0 GPA in math and science\

The deadline for application is April 29, 2011

The program runs from May 23-June 3, 2011
