Please use the contact information provided and DO NOT CONTACT the Pre-Health Advising Office. READ OVER THE INFORMATION AND INSTRUCTIONS VERY CAREFULLY

We wanted to alert you that the application for the Bellevue Hospital Emergency Department summer internship, Project Healthcare, will become available on November 25th, 2013 and will remain open until February 14th, 2014.

Project Healthcare is a summer internship designed to immerse undergraduates/post-baccalaureates in the realities of the healthcare field. Throughout the ten week program participants perform clinical shifts in the Emergency Department (including the pediatric and psychiatric EDs), Operating Room, Recovery Room, Social Work, observe autopsies at the Chief Medical Examiner's office, ride on FDNY ambulances and work on a research project.

Interested students can learn more about the program at the below link:

Please be advised that the application requires submission of an online form, essay, CV, photo and two letters of recommendation.

For students local to New York City, we are also still accepting applications for the spring and summer sessions of our Research Associate Internship. Interested students can read more about this program at the below link:

Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions.
