Hi folks,
One of the things about being a caucus is that we build, uh, caucus, before
meetings. That means when there's something important, we all get together
and be strategic and come to the meeting looking really smart.
The Dean of Students (or her representative, I am told) will be addressing
the Senate on 5/15, 4:00pm in 714 HW (regular senate meeting place and
time). She has been asked to talk about the Residence Hall prioritizing
system and any recent policy changes.
THUS, the Student Caucus & Friends are going to meet on Wednesday, 5/14 at
7:00p.m. in 1042 HE. This is where we're going to put all the data together
and try to come up with some contingency resolutions, and tough questions,
and everything I mentioned in my last e-mail. Even if you're not in the
dorms, you probably know someone who is, and we need your help and critical
eyes and ears to make our arguments airtight. I'll get together some coffee
and snacks for the meeting, too. If you have documentation and haven't yet
dropped it off at my office (1043 HE), do so before then.
