I would think the question of how to include online publications in
your portfolio is fairly straightforward. Printouts should work, with
the URL provided for confirmation on the printout or in a cover
letter.  In any e-mail communication, you would obviously include live
links.

There may well be some tricks to this I am overlooking, e.g. a link
that is unstable, a page that is taken down. Perhaps it pays to save
one's online clips as webpages.
