J-JOBS, a list of positions and internships circulated through the
University of California-Berkeley, has come up on this list before.
Professor Stein mentioned looking at it as you enter the job market.
But it can be advantageous also to study at an earlier stage, just to
get a feel for what the market is like and kinds of skills being
sought.

Scanning through this rather long list myself, I was struck by the
number of positions seeking various levels of involvement with
interactive media.

As I've suggested previously, engaging multimedia is something I think
we need to think about -- "we" meaning two things. Those of us with a
role in shaping the media studies program and you guys figuring out
how to prepare yourselves for the job market.

Take a look, and let's hear what you think.
