Dear Readers:

The latest edition of Rejected Letters to the Editor just went up.
Letters and op-eds include submissions from Eli Painted Crow, an
American Indian soldier writing to Stars and Stripes (rejected by)
about the history of American violence. Two military moms' (Cindy
Kaylor and Sara Rich, mother of soldier Suzanne Swift), writings as
well. There are also letters on the suppression of research on solar
energy, racism in the American Medical Association, media attacks on
"Sicko," the disgrace of Guantánamo, the framing of the "immigration
problem," and other matters pertinent to the course of human events.
There's an editorial on the shrinking size of the New York Times (and
its letters section) and commentary and link regarding Cheney
"trapped on tape" assessing the problems with launching the war in
Iraq. This has become an important underground story, though is not
yet covered in the mainstream press.

I hope you find RLTE of continued interest.

Best, Stuart
