Subject: Fwd: AEB Funding 4 Journalism?

Is there any interest among HC-J undergraduates in applying for
Auxiliary Enterprise Board funds for worthy journalistic activities?

Although I think students should take the lead on any such proposal, I'm
sure you'd find that I and other moderators of this list would be glad
to help.

What could you guys imagine doing with some funding? Guest speakers? A
publication?

Think about it, and let's do some brainstorming.

Peter Parisi

The Hunter College Auxiliary Enterprise Board (AEB) is now accepting
grant proposals for the 2007 - 2008 academic year.

Current students, faculty and staff are invited to apply for funds for
college-related projects, such as extracurricular programs that are
educational, social, cultural, or recreational in nature, or initiatives
that will enhance the college environment. The AEB, an association
composed of students, faculty, and administrators, will consider
proposals up to $3,500, provided that established criteria are met.

In order to facilitate the process and encourage additional
participation, proposals can be submitted electronically to
[log in to unmask] . The deadline to submit applications is
Friday, October 5, 2007. Please be aware that no extensions will be
made to the established deadline. If an application is not submitted by
October 5, 2007, it will not be considered.

Please visit the AEB Web site at http://www.hunter.cuny.edu/aeb for more
information, including application forms and guidelines for submitting
proposals.

If you have any questions, please contact Office of the Vice President
for Finance and Administration at (212) 772-4460.
