>ABOUT THE SPEAKER: Dr. Boffetta is Director of the Institute for Translational Epidemiology and Associate Director for Population Sciences of The Tisch Cancer Institute at Mount Sinai School of Medicine in 2010. He is the author of over 700 peer-reviewed publications, mainly in the field of epidemiology of chronic diseases, and the founding member of several international cancer epidemiology consortia and networks. He is associate editor of Lung Cancer, European Journal of Clinical Investigation, and Frontiers in Cancer Epidemiology, and is a member for more than 10 editorial boards of scientific journals.
