>Responsibilities:

>Plans, researches, prepare and implements health education programs for 

>adolescents, teenagers, parents and teachers in the High schools. Works 

>closely with the school system in developing and implementing 

>educational curricula in a classroom and small groups setting, when 

>appropriate in an after-school and one-on-one setting.

>Researches, prepares and disseminates educational and informational 

>material relevant to health promotion and disease prevention with focus 

>on the following ­

>

>  *   Reproductive Health, Teen Pregnancy Prevention and Sexuality

>education

>  *   Obesity, Nutrition and Physical Activity, Asthma

>  *   Alcohol and Substance Abuse Prevention

>Works with the high school-based clinic team in order to promote the 

>clinic enrollment, meet the obligations of the current programs and 

>identified needs of the operation.

>Education and Experience:

>€ Bachelor¹s degree in Health Education or related field required.

>€ Familiarity with Reproductive health and education needs of 

>adolescents and teenagers € Two years experience in designing community 

>education programs.

>€ CHES Certification or eligibility preferred € Bilingual preferred 

>(Spanish / English).
