"On April 7, Hunter College is
starting a project to replace the sidewalks in front of the North
Building on 69th Street between Park and Lexington avenues and Thomas
Hunter Hall on Lexington Avenue between 68th and 69th
streets. This project, which is expected to take three months to
complete, will remove all broken concrete panels and replace them with
new concrete sidewalks."
This is from the original e-mail from Nomikos on 4/4. Anyway, even
if it were to be done overnight, the solution is very simple. Door alarms
can be disactivated with a key. The security booth is moved 50 feet.
Where's the hassle?

I agree with the last guy. If it
isn't closed too long, then we don't have
to worry about too much. However, we should keep it in their minds that
the
TH belongs to students, and shutting down the doors or doing these kinds
of
things without talking to students or student government. Therefore, I
think
the effort you suggest is a great idea!
