Subject: Important MCAT Notice Regarding January Exams

NAAHP is forwarding this message from Michelle Sparacino at the AAMC to its
Advisor Members. Please contact the AAMC directly with any questions or
comments.

Problem Notification & Description:

Many examinees were provided with incorrect start times for the January
administrations. If an examinee shows up late, even if the time he arrives
is the time that is printed on his confirmation, he will not be permitted to
test. The correct exam start times are:

January 27 - 8 am

January 29 - Noon

Examinees must arrive 30 minutes prior to the start time.

MCAT has attempted to reach all January examinees via email and phone,
notifying them of the correct start times. We have also posted a notice and
the correct start times on our Web site.

In addition, we have extended registration through 11:59 pm Eastern time,
January 24, to allow for rescheduling and cancellations.

How You Can Help:

1) Disseminate the above message to your advisees.

2) If you know of an advisee who cannot arrive at the correct start time,
direct the examinee to the MCAT Web site, where he can try to reschedule his
exam to a date with an exam time that better fits his schedule:
http://www.aamc.org/students/mcat/registration.htm. As mentioned above,
examinees may reschedule through tomorrow night, 11:59 pm. We will gladly
refund change fees; however, cancellation fees are still in effect.

Cordially yours,

Michelle
