I save clips from websites as PDFs. There's an easy option to save as
PDF under "print" if you're on a mac.

Subject: clips from online publications

I would think the question of how to include online publications in
your portfolio is fairly straightforward. Printouts should work, with
the URL provided for confirmation on the printout or in a cover
letter. In any e-mail communication, you would obviously include live
 links.

There may well be some tricks to this I am overlooking, e.g. a link
that is unstable, a page that is taken down. Perhaps it pays to save
 one's online clips as webpages.
