Description:
Internships in Biobehavioral Medicine,
Department of Oncological Sciences, Mount Sinai School of Medicine
Join a productive team of researchers investigating
interactions among genetic, behavioral, biological and psychological
factors in cancer. Current lines of research include:
•
experimental studies of psychological, cognitive, cardiovascular,
neuroendocrine and immune consequence of cancer-related stress;
• biobehavioral effects of cancer-related stress among women at
familial risk for breast cancer; • the impact of emotional and
cognitive factors on side effects of chemotherapy for cancer; •
genotype-phenotype relations in cytokine pathways in daughters of
breast cancer patients.
Gain invaluable experience in
multiple aspects of clinical research, ranging from direct study
subject interaction to database management and analysis.
Experience in SPSS and/or SAS preferred, but not necessary.
Volunteer Internships immediately available.
