Hi All,

As many of you are already aware, the Hunter College Open House will take place on Saturday, November 10, 2007.  I am hopeful that some of you will be available to represent the BMI program at a table (the commitment will be from 11:30am-2pm).  It would also be wonderful if one or two students are available to attend (who are not already representing other student clubs/organizations).  Details about the event are below. Please let me know if you would be available to represent BMI at our Open House.

Thanks!

Clare

The agenda will be as follows:

11am-12pm                 Workshops/Information Sessions

(Topics include: Admissions Information, Honors Programs, Nursing Program)

12pm-2pm                   Information Tables

(Academic Departments, Special Programs, Student Services, and Student Clubs and Organizations will be on hand to answer questions)

2pm-3pm                     Workshops/Information Sessions

(Topics include: Admissions Information, Honors Programs, Nursing Program)

Campus Tours will be available from 11am-2pm.

We will offer campus tours from 11-2, leaving from the west lobby, as well as information sessions in the morning and afternoon.  In between the information sessions, in the 3rd floor cafeteria, there will be an opportunity to visit the information tables representing Hunter departments and services. Thanks to last year’s feedback from faculty, students and staff, we believe that this format will prevent the information sessions from competing with the tabling time.

Lunch will be served to all participants.

I am sharing what appears to be another very promising bio for our consideration. I will ask Josh to find time for at least 3 of us to meet next week, if possible with this candidate and with Keith if we can. Please let Josh know today what your availability will be for the next two weeks so we can coordinate this quickly and ideally have as many of us in the room as we can.

Thank you.

Marcia
