On behalf of the search committee for the Director of The Centro de Estudios Puertorriqueños/Center for Puerto Rican Studies (Centro), I am delighted to announce the four finalists for the position of Centro Director.  The finalists emerged from a national search that yielded a diverse and distinguished pool of applicants.  The search committee is deeply gratified to present these candidates to the community.

The finalists will each spend a full day on the Hunter College campus, culminating in a public address that will outline their vision for Centro and explain how their scholarship and community involvement inform that vision.  The candidates and their disciplinary and institutional affiliations appear below, along with the dates, locations, and titles of their respective presentations.  Each talk will take place from 5:00-6:30 p.m.
