Happy Thanksgiving! I hope you're enjoying some time off with family and friends. During this brief break, you may also want to take a few minutes to finish an application for one of our internship programs with December deadlines:
- The IHS Broadcast Journalism Internship is a great opportunity for anyone interested in broadcast news. Last year, we funded interns at CNN, ABC, and Fox News, and this February we will add NBC to that list. More information and the online application are available at www.TheIHS.org/broadcast.
- The IHS Production Internship places interns in fields such as feature film, documentary film, animation, and more at industry majors and new, cutting-edge companies. Interns last summer worked at companies including WolphinDVD, 1st Avenue, Machine, and C7 Films. Placements are available for all levels of experience. More information and the online application are available at www.TheIHS.org/production.
All placements are paid and provide travel reimbursements. Internships also include participation in our Journalism or Film & Fiction workshops.
We are reviewing applications on a rolling basis, so students (or recent graduates) should submit their application in advance of the deadline if possible. The deadline for spring placement in both programs is December 15.
