A Fulbright Grant offers students (US citizens) who will have graduated by June 2009 an opportunity for a year abroad, 2009-2010. While the study or research grant requires students to have well thought out projects, Fulbright also offers the opportunity for a year abroad as English Teaching Assistants, (ETA's ) in thirty-two countries, a far cry from the six countries available just a few years ago. And, for the ETA, the project is already designed for the students: teaching English. While in many countries, language proficiency is required, there are some countries which have no language requirement, including all those in Asia. Descriptions of all these countries can be found at the Fulbright website. There will be an information session on May 8, 2008; 4:00 - 5:00pm, Center for Student Achievement, C00l N. All the information and the application will be available at the Fulbright website as of May 1; www.fulbrightonline.org/us. Please help share this information. And, please refer students to me to discuss their proposals for a Fulbright Grant.
