Internship Announcement from City Council Member

        Dan Garodnick, the City Council Member for the 4th District on the
East 

Side of Manhattan, is looking for hard-working, dedicated interns interested
in

taking a prominent role in a high energy office.  Council Member Garodnick
is a 

young, progressive Council Member who intends to provide innovative and
responsive 

services to the constituents in the district.  To learn more about Dan,

                    Intern responsibilities will include: working closely
with Council Member 

Garodnick, organizing and representing the office in community events and
meetings, 

coordinating and participating in phone banks, creating visibility around
the district, 

event planning, and various office duties in both the District Office as
well as City Hall.  

Interns are given opportunities to lead, and are critically important
members of our team.

                    Qualified candidates are smart, energetic,
self-starters, who are interested in 

every element of local government.
