The Department of Pediatrics at Maimonides Infants and
Children’s Hospital, Brooklyn NY is recruiting a
dynamic research assistant to work on a multi-center school-based Diabetes
Prevention Study. The applicant will play a key role on an
active clinical research team. As Site Coordinator, applicant will be involved
in recruiting subjects, communication with school personnel, coordination of
laboratory and survey assessments, data management and assisting the
intervention team. The applicant will have extensive contact with middle school
aged subjects and their parents. The applicant should
have proficiency in Windows-based programs such as Word, Outlook, Excel and
Access; SPSS a plus. Good written and oral communication skills
required; Spanish language proficiency preferred. The position is half-time (benefits available) with flexible hours. Position available immediately.
