Subject: APAMSA Regional Conference inviting pre-med students

Dear Ms. Lolita Wood-Hill,

My name is Simon Sung and I’m a first year medical student at Columbia College of Physicians and Surgeons and co-president for Asian Pacific American Medical Students Association (APAMSA). This is the first year that our school is hosting a regional conference, and we’re really excited about our theme of Professional Development!

We think that premedical students would reap major benefits by attending this conference, and we’re planning to attract  premedical students by hosting a pre-med panel featuring medical students from all over the NY/NJ region who will talk and answer questions about not only med school admissions but also about student life, the importance of picking the right medical school, what to expect, etc. It will also be a chance to mingle with students and meet some top-notch physicians and residents!

Is it possible for you to distribute this blurb (below)  to the premed email list? I don't mean to spam your Listserv but I really think this is a great opportunity for students to find out about their career choice and what lies ahead. Thank you.

Sincerely,

Simon Sung
