Hunter students have been invited to join in the July 8, 2010 SMDEP Recruitment Fair to take place at the Armory Foundation, 216 Fort Washington Avenue, N.Y. N.Y. 10032 from 10am-1pm. I can take up to 12 students ONLY! The fair is for minority and disadvantaged students but others may apply if there is room. I need answers by Wednesday, June 23rd! Please respond accordingly!
The fair is an opportunity for their SMDEP and MedPrepstudents, the SMDEP and MedPrep students at UMDNJ, and the SMDEP andBioStep students at Yale to learn more about different medical and dental schools. Additionally, they have invited some D.O. programs, Kaplan and Princeton Review will have tables, and the School ofPublic Health at Columbia will be represented. So overall there will be about 400 students and as of right now we have representation confirmed from 20 institutions.
Basically the pre-med students will have a panel in Hammer 401 from 10am-11am, pre-dental students will have a panel in Hammer 301 from 10am-11am, and the fair portion will take place from 11am-1pm in the Amory. We have to arrive by 9:45am on Thursday AM at the Hammer Health Sciences building Room 401. Please dress nicely--no raggedy jeans and t-shirts please!
