Hello All,
 Mentoring in Medicine is seeking applications for two programs this fall.  Below is a brief description of the programs.  I have attached more information and an application form.  The application is due by Wednesday, September 29, 2010.  Please spread the word to interested students.
 
These programs are targeted toward students who are under-represented in medicine or socioeconomically disadvantaged.  They are FREE.
 
1-The Medical Pathway Program
This program is for juniors, seniors, post-baccalaureate students and those intending to apply (or reapply) to medical school.    
This course allows general study skills instruction and advanced MCAT preparation focusing on content with an emphasis on intense guided question review.  The student will also be exposed to clinical medicine in a busy Emergency Department.
 
2-The Emergency Department Clinical Exposure and Mentoring Program
This program is for students who are freshman through post-baccalaureate studies who are interested in pursuing a health profession. 
  
This course allows intensive study skill and test taking instruction along with exposure to clinical medicine in a busy urban Emergency Department.
