Student’s who do not meet the minimum GPA (3.3 in Math and Science) requirement but have a file with letters of recommendation in the Pre-Health Professions Office, can request a non-committee letter.

A non-committee letter is also referred to by AMCAS as a "Letter Packet." This packet is all of the Letters of Recommendation in a student's file sent as one packet to prospective Medical schools. This packet WILL NOT include evaluations. If you do not have any letters of recommendation in your file, you cannot receive a letter packet.

If you are a student who does not meet the minimum GPA requirement or the credit/course requirement please e-mail [log in to unmask] by March 1st to be added to the Non-Committee Letter list. If you are absolutely certain that you do not qualify for a committee letter, you do not have to complete the "Committee Letter Application" on the website. Just send your name and e-mail to the address above.
