Paid Internship Opportunity on Health Care Reform Book Project

Dr. Georges Benjamin, the Joan H. Tisch Distinguished Fellow in Public Health at Roosevelt House, is looking for a student to conduct research for a book on US Health Reform using the many political cartoons that have been done over the years, with a particular concentration on the Obama health reform effort. The task includes cataloging an existing cartoon set, finding new cartoons for consideration and researching appropriate references and content to support the narrative component of the project.

The time commitment is 8-10 hours per week from now until the end of the year (January 1, 2012).

Will require sound writing skills, computer skills with Microsoft Word and PowerPoint (computer graphic skills a plus); the ability to search political science, scientific and newspaper library databases is required.
