These pets serve many roles for their owners including: companionship, a reason to control drug use, and sometimes financial planning. The Space's goal is to integrate these special animals into our harm reduction strategies. Andréa Stella is the Executive Director of The Space at Tompkins and holds a Master's in Public Health from Hunter College.
