A number of career and internship opportunities are now available through the Dell Social Innovation Challenge. Students will have the opportunity to connect with students, educators, and professionals worldwide and support innovative ideas for social change as they compete for $750,000 in cash and other prizes. Students will be able to compete for the Grand Prize of $50,000 once they enter by February 13, 2012. Learn more about the DSIC community and how the competition works here:

Also, the Emma Bowen Foundation is currently offering career and internships for minority college freshmen with an interest in the media industry. Students will have the opportunity to work, develop skills and network with industry professionals. As an intern, they will have the chance to work for partner companies during summers and school breaks.

Emma Bowen has offices in NYC, LA, and Washington, D.C. and coordinates internships for 40 multi-media companies. The internship application deadline is January 31, 2012. The application and criteria can be found here:
