Come Out, Come Out, Where Ever You are! 

 

This is a reminder that this weekend on Saturday, May 5, 2012 from 9am to 1:30pm Union Settlement will be hosting the Discovering the Other Colors of East Harlem summit, a day of workshops, creative expression, and conversation regarding gender identities, sexual orientation, and lifestyles.  Please invite you participants, clients, family, friends and networks. Attached is the official flyer announcing the event so please feel free to forward and post at your programs.     

 

This event is open to all walks of life, and it’s sure to be a diverse group of participants from the East Harlem community and beyond.  Below is the mission statement for the Safe Space Network, as well as its members.  A light breakfast and lunch will be provided as well as child care for children under the ages of nine years old!

Union Settlement’s Safe Space Network promotes an open, safe and aware community with respect to matters of gender and sexuality through education.
