TT1875 - Probationary Rate: $20.25 Job Rate: $20.75 Two-Year Rate: $21.37 (Maximum Amount Authorized: $20.25)

This is a grant funded position that ends on June 30, 2013.

Qualifications:
Associate’s Degree in a healthcare related field plus one (1) year of related experience required (chart auditing experience preferred). Experience in a medical or research environment. Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) required. Equivalent education, experience and/or training may be substituted for the degree requirements.

Demonstrated ability to use basic Microsoft Office Suite skills and willingness to learn specialized technical software packages (e.g. SPSS, SNAP, Teleform). Experience with data entry preferred. Willingness to learn medical terminology including common medical procedures and prescription drugs. Strong verbal and written communication skills to ensure positive relationships with practice site personnel. High attention to detail. Ability to work independently, set goals, and manage time appropriately. Must be able to provide own transportation (costs reimbursed in accordance with UMDNJ travel policy) to practice sites in New Jersey.

Responsibilities:
Responsible for screening and recruitment of research participants in medical practice settings (by telephone and in person), completing study visits and data collection with patients in medical practices throughout New Jersey.
